A corona barrier allows us to have limited interactions during the pandemic. But it still risks co-mingling of breath and the touching of contaminated surfaces. Such a sharing that can be endured to the risk of breath(death) is available only under the government codes. Instead, intimacy, sociability, and community, and freedom were taken out of the equation of sharing to an extreme.
A balloon attempts to squeeze through the opening of a barrier. It finds itself stuck, pinned down by the cold plexiglass jamming it in from all sides. The deadly risk of sharing air is captured in this moment of tension.
