Die Zeit für Nettigkeiten ist vorbei — Summer 2024
-bird spikes, pigeons, contact mics, MAX, speakers-
The dreams of a world where interspecies conflict melts into cohabitation. Following the traces of co-evolution that formed today’s urban environments, the artist rethinks the bird spike as a tool for connection and communication. Using two 1-meter-long spikes, the installation aim to enable a sonic exchange between pigeons, humans and air. The resulting "sculpted instrument" attempts to encourage empathy among neighbors.
