Ying Chen
Ying Chen, born in Taiwan, is currently studying at the Berlin University of the Arts.
Through multiple media, Ying’s works focus on personal emotions and nature. Recently, she has been attempting to collaborate with non-human beings and explore the various relationships with all entities in the universe from within.

It is part of my unfinished work “Potato, Ink, Transitional Justice” and “Sugar Hardware”.
“This is an afternoon tea party about potatoes, sugar and democracy” explores the history of potatoes, sweet potatoes and the nature of sugar through cooking.
Interacting with audiences through a performance of making candied potatoes, exchanging potato recipes and transitional justice histories of different countries through eating and sharing.
