Felix Müller — SINUS
Time Apparatus (Course) — Winter 2021
SINUS is a design experiment that deals with the personal perception of time. Through an iterative design process an auto-active object was created. The personal perception of time, which is the basis of the design, is based on the idea that time runs in recurring forms.
Through a constantly repeating movement, executed by a motor, a string is moved, which creates a shape in space. The movement of the motor creats a sine wave which reflects my own perception of time.
