The installation I can’t go a single day without lithium explores text and images associated with lithium. Internet search results on shopping and news websites were scraped from the web with the keyword lithium to develop a database. Prices and products intertwine with headlines and article images. Next to each other they suggest the extractivist roots of lithium. Spilling from one monitor into another, they gather endlessly, while the laptop emits a slow and calming digital smoke.
