Holding Things Together — Summer 2026

The BA graduation work "We All Die Together, Though" consists of two parts, a video installation and the object of Vitamin Green. The video is presented on an out-of-home digital advertising screen.
It features two parallel storylines. The main storyline is conveyed through the fictional character Mina, who takes on the role of an Instagram influencer and shares her thoughts on the climate crisis. She delivers her monologue in front of an open-cast mine, which she portrays as a mass grave. Her proposal is: since we, as all living species on Earth, are going to die anyway, why don’t we do it together? The video takes an ironic and humorous approach to various themes, such as the search for responsibility for the climate crisis and the influence and power individual people have over it. Other themes include the interdependence of the individual body in a planetary sense and the interdependencies between different species. The main plot is constantly interrupted by the second storyline: an advertising campaign for the fictional 'Vitamin Green', designed to induce indifference and lethargy.
