Genius Loci — Winter 2022
The Tempelhofer Feld, as we know it today, is a testament to the passage of time and the winds of change blowing over it. The Feld was the site of everything from agriculture to military parades, horseraces, milestones in aviation and much more. It has been shaped by times of war as well as peace.
The echoes of this turbulent past are carried on by the wind, whispering tales of transformation, made audible in this artwork. Layers of history overlap and converge in a multichannel symphony that shifts and changes, responding to the audiences movements. Just like the Feld itself, the work is ever-evolving and shaped by the people who inhabit it.
