Traversing the city — Sights of vacant train tracks - Recurring structures - A forest of power masts and transmission lines — A network of paths — Converging and diverging — A machine distributing its elements — Like blood running through veins — Continuously in motion — Accelerating and decelerating — Both clockwork and organism — Frequencies resonating throughout — Percussive sounds — Emerging and disappearing — Time intervals create rhythm — Views through the window — Space shattering into shards
Photographs of public transport infrastructure are laser engraved onto acrylic glass sheets. Field recordings of moving trains are distributed across the shards. Sound exciters cause the glass to reverberate. Audio fades from one speaker to another resembling the motion of trains.
